Augmentin 875 Cut In Half

Augmentin 875 is too strong for me. I'm taking it for a uti. Can I cut this in half and only take half a dose to cure the infection?

You should take the full dose as prescribed by your doctor.

Why do you feel it is too strong for you?

The FDA lists it as possibly causing side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash, and diarrhea.
