Augmentin 625mg Duo For 9 Year Child

The doctor said to give augmentin 625mg duo for my 9 years sister and a SUMO tablet for cought, and throat pain, she has a medical history of brain infection due to mumps the doctor just said and didn't given prescription the chemist says why doctor is prescribed so powerful tablets for 9 years child i have given call to the doctor with chemist. Its normal giving 625mg

I don’t think so as my son is 9 years the doc gave him he is suffering frm a very bad skin reaction on his whole body with small tiny puss kind of thing n vomiting plus stomach pain don’t give I suggest
