Atorvastatin Withdrawel

Hi, I came off atorvastatin cold turkey 15 days ago. 12 days ago I started with this immense pressure in my head and face. It only goes away when I lay down and I've not got blurred vision. Is this a withdrawel effect? Thanks.

It would be best to consult your doctor. When you stop such a medication cold turkey, there is a risk of developing blockages or clots, which could be causing the problem. It's best to have this checked out for your safety.

The FDA lists the other possible withdrawal effects as including nausea, dizziness, headache and diarrhea.
