Atenolol 25mg Differences In Manufacturers

I just received my atenolol 25 mg. from a mail order pharmacy. It looks noticeably larger than the ones I have been getting from retail pharmacies for the past 6 years. The bigger one is marked Z65 and the other ones were
marked either TEVA 787 or RE 19. Are they the same dosage? Why are they different sizes?

is there a difference in an atenolol pill of potency or time release problem between taking a 25mg pill or a 50mg pill and cutting it in half?

Yes, all of the tablets you've mentioned contain 25mgs of Atenolol, they're all just manufactured by different companies, which is normal for a generic medication.

And there is nothing that dictates the size a pill should be, that depends on the manufacturing process and the inactive ingredients they decide to use.
