As Needed
Updatedis bystolic ever prescribed by a doctor as a temporary drug to lower bp, i.e. if someone suddenly experiences stress that cause a spike? in other words, is this a lifetime prescription or is out possible at some future date to stop once bp is under control?

Hello, Michael! How are you?
There is no cure for high blood pressure, per se…. but yes, there are cases where people have been able to successfully manage it with diet and exercise, so they were able to stop the medications. Of course, it's always doing to require diligence, because there's the risk of it going up again and getting out of control if you go lax on your diet or exercise routine.
Is there anything else I can help with?
