The pill in description is Adriamycin, a trade name for Doxorubicin.

Doxorubicin is commonly used to treat some leukemias, Hodgkin's lymphoma, as well as cancers of the bladder, breast, stomach, lung, ovaries, thyroid, soft tissue sarcoma, multiple myeloma, and others.
