I was provided a new prescription for amox tr-k for an infected tooth/gum. After taking the 1st dose, I experienced an upset stomach 4 hours after taking it with food. I have decided to go back to the original prescription of pencillin, and am wondering if there are any adverse drug interactions that would require me to wait until the 12 amox tr-k dose time has expired, or if I can switch and take a dose of pencillin before going to bed?

Nausea is a normal side effect of antibiotics, you may also experience dizziness, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea. It would be best to take the most recent one you've been instructed to take by your doctor.
