My husband is taking the doxytet n I'm afraid he have sti cos he is hiding for me shud I take them also

This is just an antibiotic that is used to treat various types of bacterial infections, not just STIs.

The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea.

You should only take it, if a doctor instructs you to do so.
