Apo Gabapentin 300mg Side Effects

Since taking this drug for a week I have a mouth full of many lesions or canker sores can this be connected with this drug. It is quite severe the cancers or ulcers are the size of a Nicole each one and there must be over 10. Extremely sore. Salt water rinse every two hours and medicated numbing liquid like a mouth wash so I can eat once a day. Hello of a diet. Went off the meds for now. My mouth is just too sore

Hi, Sherril! Sorry about how miserable you are, that's quite awful.

From what I can find, it has been reported that Gabapentin can do this, though it is a very rare side effect.

Have you consulted your doctor?

There are other medications you can try that may not cause this problem, such as Lyrica.

That’s very interesting. I’ve taken gabapentin for years. I’m in New Zealand. They’ve just taken that off the market and now on a bloody generic brand Apotex/APO-Gabapentin. My mouth is so sore I can only eat soft food. I’ve been putting it down to top and bottom partial false teeth plates. I now know it’s not. I’m so glad I read your question.
That generic one is funded here in NZ just like my old Gabapentin..but there is one called
Neurontin made by Phifzer. I have to pay $95 for three months supply, so I’m going to go to my Dr and pay to get that.
