I found a pill thats large and round, plain on one side and has VP 043 on the other side...do you know what it could be?

These tablets were similar to Tums, they were called Cal-Gest, and contained 500mgs of Calcium Carbonate, they were used to treat heartburn, GERD, and as calcium supplements. They came in orange, pink, yellow, and light green. This product has now been discontinued, although many others are still available over the counter, and by prescription. NDC: 00536-4742

It isn't known to cause many side effects, except for a dry mouth, and nausea, unless someone took far too much, which could cause other health complications.

Inactive ingredients may included:

D&c Red No. 27
D&c Yellow No. 10
Fd&c Blue No. 1
Fd&c Yellow No. 6
Dextrose
Magnesium Stearate
Maltodextrin
