Any Difference In Olmesartan And Telema

My wife has been prescribed Olmesartan, but the Doctor gave telmestran. Is there any major change in the medicine as the generic is the same perhaps.

They are in the same medication class, but they are two different medications, Telma contains Telmisartan, rather than Olemsartan.

The NIH lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased urination, and hypotension.

She should be able to smoothly switch from one to the other. Did the doctor mention any reason for the change?
