Antidepressant, Nonsedative, Depression
UpdatedI'm looking into possible medications to treat my depression, complex trauma disorder, unipolar behavioral disorder?, and PTSD without the typical sedative effects.
My neurodivergence and the effects it has on my body leave me lying in bed most of the time. In the past, doctors have only prescribled various sedatives and antidepressants with similar effects. I want to get out of bed. Any suggestions?

What type of doctors have you consulted?
As the NIH reports, some people with this types of conditions need a combination of medications to get them under control. Some even require stimulants, such as Adderall, in order to improve their mood and help them function. Though it is warned that they carry the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, irritability, and insomnia.
Can you post back and provide more details on the specific medications that you've tried?
