UpdatedI was taking cephalexin500 wasn't the right antibiotic for me so Dr. Gave me sulfatrimeth ds. 800 is it okay to switch from one antibiotic that isn't working to another antibiotic in the same day

As long as you have your doctor's clearance to do so, there are no other real problems with it. It often has to be done when someone has proven to be allergic to or have a bad reaction to one antibiotic, but still requires one to treat an infection.
