I have pain from my kidney and a slight burn when urinating with slight urgency.

Nitrofurantoin is most commonly used to treat UTIs, but is available by prescription only.

Side effects can include: nausea, drowsiness, skin rash and diarrhea.

Is amoxicillin tr k clv 875/125 used for urinary tract infections? I was prescribed this and i just wanted to confirm what type of infections it's used for. I also have a slight cold and this is what the doctor gave me. Is it helpful for both?
