Had a tooth pulled and was put on antibiotic, now I have a rash in the roof of my mouth. Should I go back to dentist?

Thank you, I will go tomorrow.
Hello, Lucy! How are you?
Yes, you should see your dentist or PCP, as soon as possible. The antibiotic may have caused an oral yeast infection that will require treatment, if that's the case.
The FDA lists the other typical side effects of this medication as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea.
Is there anything else I can help with?
