the bottle states disguard after 01/04/14...that is 1 month 1 day past. is it still safe to take? Every winter i seem to get sinus infections which is what this was used for, we are being hit hard with a snow storm and i cant get out to the dr.

It doesn't get dangerous once past the expiration date, but it does begin to lose effectiveness, which could lead to the development of antibiotic resistant bacteria.
Have you tried calling your doctor? It would be best to do that, just to make sure it's safe for you to take it.
Side effects may include nausea, dizziness, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea.
