Hello, Linda! How are you?
No, medications do lose efficacy with time and most only have a one year shelf-life, once the original factory sealed container is opened. It would be best to dispose of it and purchase a new supply.
The FDA lists the typical side effects of this medication as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased risk of bleeding and stomach irritation.
Is there anything else I can help with?
