I have just started on Anjelia hormone replacement pill for unbearable hot flashes. I have not had a relief since I started for three days now. My gyn. gave me a sample box to see if it will help and then I will use the prescription. Is this a helpful drug and what are the side effects. Thank you.

Hi there, I too am new to HRT, I have been on Angeliq for four days, I have had no relief, in fact I have had increased burning/sweating, and last night I was up for at least three hours with breathing difficulty - I am otherwise reasonably healthy and not being able to breathe properly scared the hell out of me. That's it for me, I could put up with the other side effects like stomach ache, but not being able to breathe, no way, and I won't be taking another tablet. Back to docs later I guess to see what I can do next.
