Hi Bert,
According to Medicare.gov, there are a number of different Prescription Drug Plans that have their own unique list of covered drugs (or what they refer to as a "formulary"). Apparently, different drugs are supposed to be ranked higher or lower within each formulary.
In order to find out which plans cover your specific medication(s), Medicare suggests filling out the following "Plan Finder" to get the most accurate information on coverage details: medicare.gov/find-a-plan/questions/home.aspx
If this is your first time applying for any type of medical/drug coverage, you may also want to speak with one of their customer service representatives to help familiarize yourself with what you can and cannot use it for (i.e. getting a brand name drug vs a lower cost generic version).
