According to the EMCDDA (European Monitoring Center for Drugs and Drug Addiction), the estimated minimum lethal dose in non-tolerant adults can start at 200 milligrams.
However, further research suggests that larger doses may be better tolerated after chronic use of the drug, whereas doses of 400 to 500 mg are not "generally" fatal.

750mg on the other hand is a significantly higher dose than what was even being considered lethal.
