Hello, Andrea! How is your husband doing?
He should take the dosage as directed by his doctor, there is far greater risk to letting an infection continue out of control.
The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash, and diarrhea.
Is there anything else I can help with?
