Amoxicillin And Cetirizine

Can I combine amoxicillin and cetirizine DIHCL for throat problem (burning sensation every time I cough)?

What is causing the cough?

If it is due to an infection or allergic reaction, these medications may help, as long as your doctor approves of your taking them.

The U.S. FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, drowsiness, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea.

However, if it is due to acid reflux, you will need an antacid. Do you ever get heartburn or a sour stomach?

Are you on any other medications?
