Amoxic-pot Clav 875-125 Tabs

What are my chances of developing C. Diff from taking this medication? I'm a can in a nursing home we recently had a resident who had this. I took all the precautions needed when entering his room gown gloves face mask ect. and washed and sanitized my hands when done doing anything with him. I have recently started taking augmentin for a sinus infection and prednizone for bronchitis I believe augmentin is what he said he had taken and developed the C. Diff from. I would like to know how high my risk is at developing C. Diff from taking this medication as I do not want to pass this on to any of my residents if i happen to develope it. Any information would be helpful. Thank you!

There are really no figures I can give you on this matter, it can vary from person to person, how often you've taken antibiotics, and other factors.

The FDA lists the typical side effect of this medication as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, diarrhea, and non-allergic skin rash.
