my doctor prescribed this medicine and I have been taking for 2 days now. I am wondering if I could drink milk with this medication?

If there are no warnings on the bottle or the monograph you received from your pharmacy, then it's generally safe to assume that there's no need to worry about it.

While some foods and beverages are contraindicated with some antibiotics, the warning about such is normally given by your pharmacy.

For instance, one that I was on recently specifically said it should be taken on an empty stomach, with only water, at least 1 hour before or 2 hours after any meal.

If you aren't sure, then double check with your pharmacist, before doing so.

Dealing with the augmentin 875-125 side effects. My doctor has me taking 1 Align (probiotics) two hours before taking the Augmentin. Then I take the Augmentin with a full meal. No diarrhea, very little upset stomach, no yeast infection. I have been on it 10 days now. I am tired but it seems to be working on my sinus infection/ Pneumonia problems.
