Amox Tr K Clv Can This Cause Blurred Vision??

A week ago from today...I had a tooth that was so infected, the infection was even inside my face...The Dr. said I could not have went 9 more hours..He did surgery and put me on this medication...(amox tr-k clv 875-125 twice a day)...today I put my contacts on and could not see one thing through them...I had been wearing old glasses for a week which I could see fair through them...I am so shocked about this..I could not see one thing with my contacts...will this meds affect the eyes???....during my ordeal,,I had severe headaches and very sick...My druggest here doesnt know anything...neither does my doctor...He wanted me to finish them...I am kinda afraid....thanks so much...nickname Always

In theory, it shouldn't, but I have known people to experience many strange side effects from medications, especially antibiotics and I've even had it happen myself.

I was taking one and when my glands first swelled to the point of being painful, plus my blood pressure soared, I went to the ER and the doctor felt there was no way it was related to the antibiotic I was taking, so I believed her and continued taking it……only to break out in a rash and hives a day and a half later! It kept me miserable for over a month.

If you feel that the medication is causing the problem, there's a good chance that it is, because you know yourself and your body better than any doctor ever will.

You should go to your doctor to have your eyes checked out and ask them for a different antibiotic if you still need to take one.
