Amox Tr K Clv 875 125mg For Infection Of Tooth

I have had a severe tooth ache for the last 2 days and now I am afraid I have an infection in the root of my tooth. Last year when I saw my dentist he said I do need a root canal done. Can Amox Tr K Clv help with the pain and the infection

This is an antibiotic, so it will only help with bacterial infections, it does nothing to treat pain. It may also cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea.

If you've not had the root canal done, yet, then this its most likely a deep dental infection and it is going to require treatment, most likely an extraction. If you don't have it taken care of, then the infection will just keep returning.

No, thank you so much for your answer to my question. My dentist will be doing the root canal this Friday. He gave me a stronger antibiotic as well as a strong pain reliever until the infection has cleared.
