Amoxicillin with Clavulanic Acid, the active ingredients in Augmentin, is an antibiotic used to treat various types of infections.

It has been known to cause liver failure, but only in a very small percentage of people that have used it.

Normal side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, skin rash and diarrhea.
