Amoxicillin with Clavulanic Acid is a generic for the antibiotic Augmentin.

That said, it should not be used, unless your doctor or dentist has confirmed the presence of an infection. Otherwise, you run the risk of developing antibiotic resistant bacteria.

Common side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, diarrhea and skin rash.
