Amox K Clav Side Effects-stomach Cramping
UpdatedI began taking Amox-Clav 875MG tablets yesterday. I have taken 2 pills and have been experiencing stomach cramps through out the day. Some cramps are more severe than others..have to stop and wait for the pain to subside before continuing whatever I am doing. Will this go away or continue through out the course of the medication? I am prescribed 1 tablet every 12 hours for 10 days. Thank you!

Hello, Susan! How are you? I'm very sorry about the problem that you're having.
That can be a side effect of most antibiotics, but if it's very severe, you should consult your doctor, you may be better off trying a different one.
Other side effects can include nausea, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea.
Is there anything else I can help with?
