I didn't find any problems or interactions listed between these medications, though it's always best to double check to be sure.
The FDA lists the typical side effects of this antibiotic as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea.
It would actually be far more dangerous to let an infection continue out of control.
