Amox Clav 875mg Tablets For Cat Bite

I was prescribed this for 8 days for cat bites on my hand. Twice a day. When should the swelling go down?

The general rule for antibiotics is that if they're working for you, you should see no worsening of your condition, after taking them for a full 24 hours and improvement should be seen after a full 3 days. If it doesn't improve after that time, you should contact your doctor as you might require a different one.
