I have a infection in my gums from my tooth that broke off I took 3 so far and I'm still in pain

However, this medication is not a pain reliever, it is an antibiotic, so it can help with the infection, but will not relieve the pain. That will usually clear up in a few days, once the infection starts to clear up.

Have you consulted your dentist? If the pain is severe, they should be able to prescribe something that can help.
