Amox Clav 875 Mg Cough

I have taken 2 tablets/day of am ox clave 875 mg for 10 days. Will this cause coughing?

Hi bob,

Would you describe it as more of a gag reflex type of cough? Just wondering because "vomiting" is really the only side effect listed under this medication that I find comes close to "coughing".

On the other hand, it's possible that you may be experiencing an allergic reaction. Allergic reactions to Amoxicillin can include, but are not limited to the following symptoms: Swelling or tingling in your mouth or throat, chest tightness, trouble breathing

In either case, it sounds to me like you should probably report this side effect to your doctor, just to be on the safe side. If for some reason this was an allergic reaction, it's usually better to act on it early before it gets worse.
