This tablet actually contains 325mgs of Acetaminophen and 5mgs of Oxycodone, a generic for Percocet, this is a narcotic analgesic.

Common side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, dizziness and constipation.

You can read more on it here:

Is there anything else I can help you with?

The pill I received from the Pharmacy atoday is Amneal manufacturing , blank on one side and markings IP204, not IP203 - is this still generic for PERCOCET 10/325 - it is white round also.

Oops sorry - it is not round, it is a white oblong pills with IP204, bot IP203 - and no markings on the other side - is this equivalent to generic Percocet 10/325 (generic tylenol)?

Is this a crap medicine? I had to take 4 of these to feel a little better. Is it the manufacturer amneal that is ripping the people off??!!! Not cool if so.

I just got my percocet prescription refilled today "OXYCODONE/APAP 10-325MG" and I am experiencing the same thing. I am noticing a bid difference in my pain relief. These don't help my pain at all!! I might as well take an aspirin! Same pharmacy, new owners, different supplier. This sucks!! They filled my script with pills that have "IP204" on them, bottle says manufactured by "AMNEAL PHA"

I`m glad to find this forum. I am used to endocets and insurance / pharm. filled my last script Novembers script with amneal 10/325 which I`ve noticed within appr. 3 days or so that they are nothing but trash. There is nothing in the pills, at least that works for me. I have chronic back pain and they seem to be like drinking a glass of water, know matter if I take 1 or 2 at a time.. Endo`s never have for the past 10 years left me without some what relief.. Then I ended up with these s***ty , so called pain pills. Its very discouraging to a patient that is in chronic pain. I hurt like hell with the Endo`s , but did get some relief,I at least could stand, walk up rite and sleep!!! I`m sure my Pain Management Dr. or at least pray he will listen and help me get back on my feet. I highly do NOT recommend NO med`s made by AMNEAL. Someone is s***ting patients/consumers, Is there any other readers on this forum feel the same ?? Does anyone have any other recommendations in this field of meds ? The squeaky wheel gets the oil, huh !!

I too am suffering from these crappy IP 204 pills! My regular brand is Watson – 10–3 25 mg and I never had a problem with pain relief or getting some kind of comfort from them. All of a sudden all my pharmacies in my area seem to have these IP204 oxycodone's that are not effective, to say the least!!! It's as though I'm taking a placebo. My usual daily administration is 2/10–3 25 mg four times a day. With the Watsons I got relief at every dosing. With the other pills/the new pills I've even taken four at once and receive no pain relief whatsoever so I know it's not my imagination it's the darn pills... I have a call into my Dr to see what he says, but I'm sure my insurance isn't going to do anything to resolve this and I have 3 more weeks until my next scheduled appointment and im scared how I'm going to deal with the pain.
I've had MULTIPLE operations this last year from several botched surgeries that have left me with huge wounds and a wound vac and the pain is unbearable!!! I can't see myself going to the ER everyday for the next 3 weeks until I can find a pharmacy that carries my usual brand. These IP204 pills are complete garbage and have left me suffering!!! I am living proof to say that all generics are not the same!!!

I have started up since I wrote my inquirey about the Amneal products,on one that may work for some but its a heck of alot better than the Amneal percocet and that is Alvog 10-325`s.. Now they still not the Endo`s or Watson`s but to me getting close. Lets say this, they at least help me and my insurance covers them. Life is much better! It may to some fplks not work as they are for me, but for the time being i`m satisfied, just remember this is me not you.I have to travel to even get these. I can get the Endo`s but my ins. will not cover them.. I have great Dr.`s and they work with me on finding pharmacies as local as they can to fill my script.
As I stated this pill works ,but like anything else you have to ask for them.. Try them out...

Now I have only taken these Anvol for one and a half months, nearly two,but i`ve had them in the past when I couldn`t get Endo`s.. All I can say is good luck and hang with great Dr,`s and pharmacies, they do make a difference!! If at all possible which i`m sure most of you are, go to a pain clinic close by your residence and get to know them.. Persistence Prevails

I just received a partial, out of 180 I received thirty. Thank goodness because the amneal brand was weak, it seemed smaller and the effect lasted about 1 hour. I now call before hand to ensure i dont get that brand again. My dr gave me the remaining meds, and I went to the pharmacy which i know has good generics, got Mylan. Way way
Better. Sometimes its trial & error.

You know I was wondering where or what happened to Watson, you answered my question.. I didn`t do any research on them but companies as large as Watson just don`t disappear.. Thanks, but that really pisses me off..

I found a new brand Alvogen. Best generic out there. U have to actually call the pharm and ask them to order it if its not available.

That is the pill I mentioned in a earlier post. It seems to work okay, a heck of a lot better than amneal. I had misspelled it. They will ,now that they know it works somewhat take it off the market, watch and see.. I hope you continue having some relief from it!! Good Luck

I like the Alvog, it works well so far for me ,but it still isn't Watson`s but a site better than anything else I have and were getting.. Please tell your pharm that you want them, and give them a whirl.. Hope they work for you, Good Luck

I just do not understand and this HAS to be mental. (My wife is this type, if she TELLS HERSELF they are not as good, trust me, they are not as good and she could do 10 of them and they will be useless) For 7+ years I have been on 120 per month, 10 mg Percocets and I've always requested the IP 204. They are more than sufficient and have been extremely consistent and I have never noticed a variation. I have never compare them to the Watson, or the brand-name Percocet, but I guarantee you I have a very high tolerance at this point, and they have always worked sufficiently.

IP204 are just fine. Stop telling yourself they won't work and maybe they will... If I have seen this once, I have seen it 100 times. People get used to something and when they don't get their way, they immediately tell themselves that this is not going to work and you know what? It won't work... You could do 10 of them and they won't work once you make up your mind that they won't work.

People will swear up-and-down that they are useless. The human brain is a powerful thing my friends. I have been on IP 204 for 7+ years and one thing is for sure, they are the most consistent pill out there and have never fluctuated they are more than sufficient and there is no way that anyone will ever tell me that they took it and it was useless. I have been on them too long to know better.

There is no way with my tolerance level, that I can take an 120 monthly IP204 for seven straight years and have them get rid of my pain consistently, just to hear some fools pop up and talk about how they are junk and don't work at all.

I know better :)

I also suffer from severe RA and a multitude of other problems.I have always taken Actavis 30 mg Oxycodone IR without a single problem. 5 weeks ago I ended up with Amneal. I at first thought I was having a bout of the flu. Symptoms got worse and I went to the hospital where they immediatly looked at my meds chart and assumed it was :drug seeking Behavior.Amneal is made in Korea The fillers and dies can be anything from drywall to talc. There are thousands of complaints and posts about this generic but it is so cheap compared to other generics that almost all the major chains are carrying it.I have been vomiting ,have severe diareha, and dehydration problems and my Doctor will not allow me to change to a small pharmacy and I have a pain mgt contract.I am stuck as I have researched the distributors called the companies as I feel we are all our own best advocats. WRONG!!!!!! Doing so makes us look like drug addicts.I either go through full withdrawl which terrifies me or wait until my kidneys or liver shuts down. In fact my liver enzymes are through the roof since I,ve been on this amneal generic. Please complain to the FDA and lets force them to investigate this issue before more people get sick and complain to your doctors and pharmacists until somethng is done. It is getting hard enough to get opiates for those of us that really need them, but every night on the news you see stories about all the arrests on the streets. Something is seriously wrong here.

Yes. It's generic percocet 10/325. It seems to work fairly well for me.

I know you posted this a long time ago, but you should still know that you are completely wrong. Do some homework before posting, please. WATSON was the one that bought a whole bunch of companies. They became Actavis and are now Allergan. When you say Ameneal, I'm guessing you mean Amneal?? If so, wrong again... That's an American company that has nothing to do with Watson. I know all this because I worked at one of the companies bought by Watson/Actavis/Allergan. Where did YOU get such terrible information?!

Re: catbrat (# 19) Expand Referenced Message

I was switched to the oblong Percocet generic last month and I just got a 2nd refill, but haven’t used it. I was just going with the assumption that all generics are the same, but apparently, they are not! I haven’t felt like I was getting the same relief, but thought it must either be all in my head, or my tolerance was changing. I thought I would just Google if there were any differences in manufacturers. So glad I did!! I’m so glad that I found this site - now I know it’s not just me. I too have had nausea and headaches since around the time I was given this brand. I never really paid attention to who the manufacturer was before, so I’m not even sure what I was on before. I know that the Amneal brand is not giving me the same pain relief and I attributed my headaches to my cervical disc problems. I’m going to talk to my pharmacist on Monday (my husband and I have become friends with him - lol!). I want to tell him what I discovered and see if he can order me a better manufacturer, and also find out what I’ve been on for the last 3 years. I have started questioning any NEW drug my doctor prescribes for me before I will take it. For some reason, I always thought that pain meds were all the same, but am finding out more and more with several other types of drugs also, that you are the only one that can be an advocate for you - don’t ever assume a doctor knows everything, because it’s simply not true! Thank you for all the information I’ve received on MedsChat!

I agree. CVS is pushing those generic percocet 325/10. And they are not worth a damn! The other MFR., CVS should have continued with I have been taken the same dosage for a minute, and when I got my script. Just recently the pharmacist tells me it's a new dosage! NOOO ITS NOT!! AND ONLY GAVE ME 30 PILLS,! MY SCRIPT IS ALWAYS FOR 90! THEN TELLS ME ITS AN 8 DAY SUPPLY!! HOW IS THAT?? I TAKE 1 TAB EVERY 6 HOURS! ALWAYS HAVE!! PLZ EXPLAIN HOW CAN THIS BE A SUPPLY FOR 8 DAYS??? PLUS A NEW DOSAGE AS WELL???
