Amneal Hydrocodone Ip 110 (Page 2)

I was given a different brand of hydrocodone/acetaminophen 10-325 by MFG AMNEAL, instead of my regular brand watson 10-325 I was told that my pharmacy wouldnt carry watson brand after the fact of giving me the new generic brand. Even though the label on my new brand states oval white tab.watson 853 not letting me prior of refilling my prescription. And I need to know if both brands are equally the same? I read most of people complain about this new MFG AMNEAL generic brand. I want the facts and truth about brands being the same. When i asked one of the pharmacist, she said, "watson my regular brand is the same as my new brand". But i would like an outsider professional opinion who doesnt work for my pharmacy.

Thank YOU for your support. I’m actually beyond thankful I met you randomly. Just by stumbling upon this site & posts (sadly - wish I stumbled upon all of you another way under better circumstances) of course ;-).

It’s nice to also have that support and others that you can talk to and get advice on things like this, since not many understand or do judge or look at us differently regarding meds.

Especially if you don’t “look sick” or don’t “look like you’re in pain” and are working or living life - you’re fine. That “how are you feeling” question, lol - it’s like “great, how are you”! As if I want to complain all the time or explain something ppl don’t get...it’s draining as it is many days - as if we want to all be relying on meds to help. But if they help me do what I need to, bring on the pill.

People don’t understand what most of us deal with daily just to do the “normal” things and put on a fake smile or face some days especially (to do the simple basics) too.

If they only knew or were in our bodies for a day, they’d prob only last 1/2 a day on the really bad days (not that I would wish pain or anything on anyone).

I’m always an upbeat happy person but it’s rough to put on that smile all the time sometimes (draining, super exhausting and draining at times to have to battle the things we do)...then to have to deal with something like this “good old Amneal” issue we sadly all had to come across...omg!

Lol I’ve typed amneal so much since Sunday - that now my iPhone even knows the brand name. It automatically wants me to type Amneal when i type “ the letter A” now lol. So crazy. My phone is now crazy now that I know I’m not lol.

Stupid amneal/hope to god they do something about that product for us! You rock and genuinely appreciate you, your support advice and help (and everyone else here too, with all my novels & venting sessions). You’re awesome and really grateful for ya!

Feel like we are all a club now - we should start our own group. Lol. The Anti-Amneal Awesome clan. I’m not creative mentally at the moment for a catchy name. Other than words that may not be approved to post at the moment Lol. Hahaha.

Also - Thank you! I’m beyond appreciative for you too. Beyond grateful for you & everyone - for the help, info, support and being able to vent and chat with that understand. No idea how it happened - pretty ironic when i went to type “amneal” Sunday to google them on my phone, this site popped up with so many on here with the same problem before their own company did. Stumbling upon this site & forum randomly was crazy, but super grateful for it! Things happen for a reason i guess, but sadly hate it was under this situation for everyone.

You’re all wonderful & words won’t even express how much it means to have found people that understand & can help....even with my annoying venting and novels lol.

The company is prpbsbly trying to cover up. They know very well that their 10/325 is junk!! I let them know several months ago. Now lets all do something about it!! They came back with an emaul saying nothing is wrong with it. Yeah right!! There are many people saying they are having serious side affects too!! Its not only me!!

I did a search on Amneal vs Watson because it made me so ill. I forced my way through most of the script then went back to my doctor because it made me so sick. Been off of Amneal and back on Watson for a week now and had the worst detox in my life, diarrhea, nausea (which I still am going thru), headache, almost like I had a flu! Horrible to go through. Already complained to Walgreens. If they run out of Watson I will take everyone's advice and go elsewhere I will not put that garbage in my body again. I already have to deal with the pain of my intestines being liberated and bleeding, I don't need any more health issues.

I actually emailed my senator last night. Next I will tell him to get on here & see how many ppl are effected Nationwide!! Amneal made me very very sick! I will continue to go hollistic, until the FDA is doing their job! I covered a lot of medical issues in my email to my senator!! The new laws in Georgia are a violation of our human rights & civil liberties!! Good luck! PLEASE CONTACT YOUR GOVERNMENT!!! Force the FDA to do their job!!!

Please report to the FDA. This drug by Amneal is horrible! I had the worst side effects too! The more of us that report this the sooner this garbage will be gotten rid of!! 1-888 463-6332. Amneal 10/325 is poison!

I'm taking 1P110 by Amneal 10/325 it make me sick I was taking norco 10/325 with no problem I have acid reflux and this drug make me nausea I have call around and can't find watson norco do any one no were I can get them in Tyler Texas? Please Help that 1P 110 burn so bad

As far as I know walgreens carries watson. I had a very bad experience with Amneal too! Call other stores and find out what brand they carry. Most of all make a complaint to your doctor and get it documented. Alot of us here have been affected negatively by the Amneal garbage hydrocodone!! It made me so sick!! Let the pharmacy you call know you are sensitive to this brand when you call.
Document your symptoms and made a complaint. To the FDA, not Amneal. I was hung up on and put on hold and when soneone answered I could not understand them. Take the leftover to your doctor and get a new prescription for the amount you did not take. Good luck. Sorry you are going through this.

Exactly what Thunderheart said. Same issues here. Also had to go to doctor to give my bottle and get a new script. My Walgreens now only gives me Watson. I filed a complaint with Walgreens corporation so they were aware and the FDA.

I didn’t contact Amneal, but what do you know, they contacted me. They’ve been emailing me for info so they can investigate it....so obviously enough of us are being proactive where the FDA is taking action on making sure they are doing their due dilegince (I'm thankful for this site and thread from everyone in January when i went through this, when i thought i was crazy)!

Thank you Michelle. Amneal has never contacted me but Im not surprised. I noticed many months ago how bad the medicine was and they brushed me off.
Thank you for helping the cause! Now if we can get big pharm to stop making our medicine weaker!!

Agreed. Amneal Pharmaceutical LLC IP 110 Hydrocodone DOES NOT WORK ! I am in severe agony. Never had a problem for 17 years on generics, but now am barely able to care for myself. Never again will I purchase Amneal.

I am now taking Amneal hydrocodone 5 mg since there is a shortage of 10 mg in my area of San Diego. I do notice that this 5 mg Hydrocodone is not as effective, causes sweating within four hours, and I feel drunk when I take it. Never felt that way taking Norco.
