Amiodarone 200 Mg Tab Zyd
UpdatedShould Amiodarone 200mg Tab ZYD be prescribed to someone diagnosed with Amyloidosis? My amyloidosis is causing a very irregular heart beat, stiffness in my wrist, legs & jaw. I have taken Amiodarone for one day (3 pills) and stiffness appears to be worse & was unable to sleep. I have a history of being very sensitive to medications.

It is normal to experience some side effects, whenever you start a new medication. The FDA lists those as being possibly side effects, along with nausea, dizziness, headache, and increased urination.
Having only taken 3 pills, it would be very odd to notice a significant change, but we are all different, so the possibility cannot be ruled out.
How are you doing, now? Has there been any change? Are you on any other medications?
