Hello,
I need to get some medicine from India to US for parents visiting from India.
They know the medicine names by talking to doctor in India, but don't have any prescription so cannot get them in US pharmacy.
Can you suggest how to get them from India or any other source?

These are medicines:
1. Ofloxacin-200. 10 tabs.
2. Ornidazol-500. 10 tabs.

Hi Suresh,

Posted below are the Indian drug names you mentioned along with their corresponding active ingredients. From what I understand, you can find all of these ingredients here in the US, with the exception of "Vildagliptin"; one of the active ingredients found in Zomelis. According to a news article I found from 2013, Vildagliptin has not yet been approved by the FDA, but is currently marketed under the name 'Galvus' in the UK...

Here is the list of brand names/ingredients:

1) Deplatt-A: Clopidogrel + Aspirin
2) Remylin: methylcobalamin 1500 mcg + alpha lipoic acid 100 mg + pyridoxine hydrochloride 3 mg + folic acid 1.5 mg.
3) Metpure: metoprolol succinate 50 mg + S-amlodipine 5 mg
4) Zoryl M: Glimepiride
5) Ramistar: Ramipril
6) Volix: Voglibose
7) Zomelis: Vildagliptin 50 mg + Metformin 500 mg
8) Tonact: Atorvastatin
