There are many alternatives to controlling and/or lowering blood pressure. In my opinion the safest and most logical method would be to control what foods you put into your body.

Many acidic foods that are high in sodium such as chips, lunch meats and canned foods can easily cause an unbalance in ones blood pressure if consumed on a regular basis. I am no MD, but my advice would be to eat more alkaline foods. Alkaline foods balance out your entire body's PH level, which effects blood pressure as well. Try to search through google for an alkaline food chart.
