Alternative To Cumaden

Mom is 88. She has dizzy spells as well as weakening legs, so is falling. She is on cumaden and we fear that a good hard fall could result in life threatening blood loss. She has heart problems, but we have heard of another drug that does not thin the blood, but slickens up the interior of the arteries and vessels. Before asking her doctors about the change of meds we would like to hear of anyone else's experience.
