I'm taking lo-ogrstrel. I've already taken several days of my sugar pills, but I haven't gotten my period yet. If I skip the remaining sugar pills and jump ahead to the next month, will I still be able to skip my period?

Hello, Piper! How are you?

It's doubtful, but you could ask your doctor about doing it. However, according to the FDA information, your period is usually brought on by the break from hormones, which you've already had for a few days, so there's still a chance that it may start.

Side effects to oral contraceptives are listed as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headaches, weight gain and PMS like symptoms.

Is there anything else I can help with?
