Already On The Market

Tussinex and Tussincaps are already on the market and while it does work to calm cough its become notorious for the high it gives since the antihistamine in it potetiates the hydrocodone! it should be taken off the market since any opiod drug can suppress coughing and sneezing and they arent as mind altering as this combo!

Based on my research, both of these drugs do interact with one another. Quoted below are the precautions that more people should be aware of:

"Using Chlorpheniramine together with Hydrocodone may increase side effects such as dizziness, drowsiness, and difficulty concentrating. Some people may also experience some impairment in thinking and judgment. You should avoid or limit the use of alcohol while being treated with these medications. Avoid driving or operating hazardous machinery until you know how the medications affect you. It is important to tell your doctor about all other medications you use, including vitamins and herbs. Do not stop using any medications without first talking to your doctor."

I have no idea why the FDA would allow a drug combination with any interactions whatsoever to even be considered safe. But then again, they are out to get your money, so I'm not too surprised. Surely if enough people came together on this and wrote to the FDA, they would at least have to hear people out.
