Allergy With Yellow Dye

Qualitest's hydrocodone/apap 10/325 V 36 01 makes me itch & causing head and ear congestion.

Sometimes the fillers in these pills can cause allergic reactions, such as that which you mentioned in your description. Certain "inactive" ingredients that may or may not be present in each brand, are actually detrimental to how the drug is metabolized and used by your body. Because everyone is different, your body may agree with one medication over the other, due to how you feel or based on whatever side effects present themselves.

Have you considered contacting your doctor or pharmacy about switching brand names or manufacturers? I don't think they all have dye in them, but it would be good to confirm that with the pharmacist before you fill any future prescriptions.
