Can I take losartan if I have allergies to penicillin and sulfa?

Losartan isn't an antibiotic, so it's not related to Penicillin, it is an ARB that's used to treat high blood pressure and certain cardiac conditions. Its side effects may include nausea, dizziness, headache, hypotension and stomach pain.

And are you allergic to sulfa or sulfur drugs? There is a difference. What did you have a bad reaction to?
