Allergies To Sulfa (Top voted first)

I'm allergic to Sulpha based drugs, but I am into cooking and wondered if it would be safe for me to try black sea salt? in the descriptions it keeps mentioning it has a sulphur like taste, smell, etc, in it's description, but I can't seem to find out if it's actually sulphur based. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

There is a difference between sulfa drugs and actual sulfur.

Can you eat egg yolks without a problem? If so, then you are not allergic to sulfur, because they are very high in it.

I am also allergic to sulfa drugs, but have no problem with actual sulfur.

Is there anything else I can help with?

Thanks for the info, no, I have no problem with eggs, so will be able to actually try the black salt, appreciate the help.
