My daughter is pregnant and is allergic to Penicillin can she take Augmentin?

They are not the same, but are distantly related, so there is a small chance you could also be allergic to the Amoxicillin in the Augmentin. However, the risk isn't great, but you should double check the information to be certain.

Side effects may include nausea, dizziness, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea.
