Allergic To Augmentin - Can I Take Amoxicillin

I'm allergic to prepav and possibly amoxicillin and just took one pill of augmentin. Could this cause an allergic reaction?

I'm sorry, I'm not totally certain what you're question is, it seems autocorrect may have gotten you. LOL

However, Augment also contains Amoxicillin, so yes, you may have an allergic reaction to it, as well. As listed by the FDA, the symptoms of an allergic reaction may include nausea, body swelling, trouble breathing, swollen/painful glands and trouble breathing.

If you do start to experience them, you should seek emergency medical attention.

Help me please... I seem to have what I assume to be severe acid reflux to 80% of meds so far and then I have to suffer in pain as a result. I just found out I can't take most antibiotics due to that severe stomach pain but keflex is ok. However, my neck glands swell so much that I have to take benadryl with it, and also had to take something to get rid of my uti. Does anyone have answers or the same issues with meds? I'm at my whits end. I don't want feed surgery but it's a thought, so I can take meds. Not sure that will help though. Please advise. Thanks.
