Allergic Reaction To Morphine

I took to 15 mg 24 extended release morphine pills and slowly ot started making me feel sick and after about 8 hours it made me throw up. This morning I woke up and I still felt the effects of it but not as bad as yesterday. But the thing that worries me is I this morning I felt my neck and I had about two lumps on it and now I feel like I have a third coming up. Is it an allergic reaction and if so will it go away?

Where are the lumps located?

If they are due to swollen glands, that could be due to an allergic reaction, but you should have it checked out by your doctor to be sure.

The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation.

Are you on any other medications?

They are on the side of my neck further to the back. And after thenlumos showed up I have not taken any more of then. It has been 5 days and they are still there

Morphine is an opiate, and a very strong one at that. I don't know if you have ever been on opiates before, but they will generally cause nauseousness and vomiting when you first take them. That eventually will go away. As for the bumps on your neck, I would definitely talk to your doctor about that because I have never heard of that. I was on opiates for about 15 years so I know a lot about them. But never have I gotten bumps on my neck from opiates. If you have any other opiate questions, please feel free to write me back.
