What diseases/illness can zimvast cure?

My mother had a stroke in 2008. Now we are bringing her to the doctor for a check up and the result of her x-ray says that her heart is enlarged.

This medication is used to help lower cholesterol levels to help prevent heart attacks and stroke.

The NIH lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, and joint/muscle aches.

Is she on any other medications?
