No, alcohol is not known to alter the efficacy of oral contraceptives.

However, indulging in alcohol while taking it may cause you to experience more side effects than usual, so you may feel more dizzy, drowsy, nauseous and irritable than usual, as listed by the FDA.

You should also check with your doctor to make sure that it is safe for you to imbibe.
