if you take hydrocodone in large doeses overe a long time , how will it afect your liver?

Well, very negatively to put it mildy. It is processed through your liver, plus if you are taking it in the usual available form with Acetaminophen, you are giving your liver a double whammy as Acetaminophen is toxic at a daily dose of 4,000mgs or 4grams.
